Our warranty applies in the United States and Canada to home theater speakers manufactured or distributed
by Streem™ ("Streem") under the Streem brand name within the United States and Canada ("Product").
Streem warrants that the Product you have purchased from Streem or from an
authorized Streem reseller is free from defects in materials and workmanship under
normal use for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase.
Your warranty registration is submitted automatically upon purchasing the Product
from Streem or an authorized Streem reseller. This warranty extends only to the
original purchaser and is nontransferable.
This warranty does not extend to any product not purchased from Streem or from an authorized Streem
reseller in the United States and Canada. This warranty also does not extend to any Product
that has been damaged or rendered defective (a) as a result of accident, misuse, or abuse; (b) by improper
installation; (c) as a result of electrical surges or anomalies; (d) by operation outside of normal
usage parameters; (e) by unauthorized modification of the Product, or (g) as a result of service by anyone
other than Streem, an authorized Streem reseller, or an authorized Streem service provider.
During the warranty period, Streem will repair or replace the defective parts
with new parts or, at the option of Streem, serviceable used parts that are equivalent
to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and Products replaced under this
warranty will become the property of Streem. If, after repeated efforts, Streem
is unable to restore the Product to good working order, Streem, at its option,
shall either replace the Product or refund the purchase price.
Products returned to Streem under this warranty must be shipped prepaid by the customer.
Provided your return address is located within the continental United States (48 contiguous states) or Canada,
Streem will return serviced products under this warranty prepaid to the customer.
Except as expressly set forth in this warranty, Streem makes no other warranties, expressed or implied,
including any implied warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Streem expressly
disclaims all warranties not stated in this warranty. Any implied warranties imposed by law that may not
be disclaimed are strictly limited to the terms of this express warranty.
If your Product fails during the warranty period, and provided your return
address is located in the continental United States (48 contiguous states) or Canada, you may ship the Product directly
to Streem for repair service. In returning the Product for repair service, you
must prepay all shipping charges, custom duties and taxes, as well as any other
charges associated with transportation of the Product. In addition, you are solely
responsible for adequately insuring the Product shipped or returned. You assume
all risk of loss during shipment. Provided your return address is located within
the continental United States (48 contiguous states) or Canada, Streem will return serviced products under this warranty
prepaid to the customer.
To return the Product for service, you must do the following:
- Visit our Return Merchandise Authorization form to request an RMA number.
Be sure to have the following information available:
- Product model
- date of purchase
- place of purchase
- detailed description of the problem
- A technician will analyze your problem. If the technician determines that
your Product must be returned for repair you will be issued and RMA number. The
date of submission will be deemed your claim date for purposes of determining
whether or not your claim falls within the warranty period.
- Upon receiving your RMA number you will receive detailed instructions on packing and shipping
the Product to us.
If, upon receipt of the Product, Streem determines that the problem is not covered
by this warranty, you will be contacted to determine whether the problem should
be repaired by Streem for a charge or whether the Product should be returned to
you as received by Streem.
Streem shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential
damages caused by the Product or the failure of the Product to perform, including,
without limitations, any damages arising from loss of use, lost business, revenue,
profits, data or goodwill. Streem shall not be liable for any claim made by a
third party or made by you for a third party. This limitation applies whether
damages are sought, or a claim made, under this warranty or as a tort claim (including
negligence and strict product liability), a contract claim, or any other claim.
This limitation cannot be waived or amended by any person. This limitation of
liability will be effective even if Streem or an authorized representative of
Streem has been advised by you of the possibility of any such damages.
